we're glad he was born!...

tonight was absolutely wonderful, bob's birthday party, but as many people remarked, deeply sad as well...

bob is leaving us for tour then more tour then portland, adventure as bobby appleseed speading love and noise...

i am getting teary now thinking of it, and i had remained so brave tonight...

there is no one to replace him, and i have learned more lessons of life and living thru and with him, he is a dynamo unmatched, and i envy portland for getting him, but he will be free then to return as a touring artist, always the most welcomed artist in residence as well...

hazel will be staying with us, and i have already bawled once over her eventual leaving as well...she is my dearest little buddha fuzz friend, and is a delight, tho she may not seem so (as so many people have had run ins with her growly side) she is a tender and intelligent creature whom i will miss minute by minute once she is gone...

tho neither of these living beings will be residing here in permanence any longer, they will visit, and always be present in vision, and have two people that are eagerly joining in for september.

tonight was an exceptional experience of community...i won't try to describe it with words; i am so glad we all got together to share the joy and loss...we are stronger because of it...

there is no doubt that what bob has contributed to will thrive as he would wish it to, tho to be without him will be a sorrow as this place is memory upon memory of him...he will be sorely missed, and always welcome...
