the blade is ready should the viper strike

i am exhausted...questioning why i do this...i'm still terrified from the cannibals seething at the gate...now we have it barred castle style with a wrought iron fixture and a slab of wood...

there is so much fear in this, in the cracks of the rat concrete, and in the brickwork...when people are drunk on their own power to be more horrible than you... but fuck them...

so i carry a big knife... i'm tired of violence....
